Jessica Turner is an emerging curator and PhD student in Screen Cultures & Curatorial Studies based in Kingston, Ontario, with an MA in Art History & Visual Culture and a BFA in Art Criticism & Curatorial Practice.

Her work is grounded in ecocriticism as a central interpretive lens, exploring how materiality, embodied experience, and relational aesthetics work within participatory/inclusive curatorial practices related to contemporary climate art.

Ms. Turner's M.A. thesis project investigated the representation of melting glaciers through the art of BC artist Jan Kabatoff.  The exhibition space acted as an incubator for building climate empathy and action through thought-provoking multisensory media.
